TEAM ZIMBABWE - JUNE 2008  In June we are sending a team of 10 people to Zimbabwe to provide support to Andrew & Jodie Muller (www.zimbabwebound.com) who are an Albany Creek couple who have gone where many people are trying to leave: Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is a beautiful country with beautiful people who are having a hard time at the moment as can be seen from what you see on t.v. and read in the papers. Andrey & Jodi work with children, orphans, youth and in job generation for adults in Bulawayo and at Willow Park, 60km west of of Bulawayo (in conjunction with Youth for Christ). The team will help build a new dining hall at the Willow Park Youth Centre and also engage in support work with a local orphanage. The team have been raising funds to buy the building materials and other related expenses. The next fundraiser will be a Garage Sale on Saturday 31 May. Any support you can provide to Team Zimbabwe will be greatly appreciated. |
